What To Expect

Harvest Pointe Community Church is a community of people who have been transformed by God’s grace through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are covenanted together in our pursuit of knowing, loving, treasuring, and worshipping God, beginning here in Jefferson County, WV, and extending out to the nations. We encourage you to join us for our Sunday gathering, and we look forward to getting to know you. Here are few things to expect when you visit:

What is the Sunday Service like?

The Gospel is the center of everything we do. Sunday's are dedicated to proclaiming the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ. Our preaching, singing, teaching, and serving aim to equip the Church with content rich in theology and applicable to our lives and culture, Sunday service consists of vibrant worship, expositional preaching, and the monthly partaking of the Lord's Supper for believers.

When do I need to get there?

Our Sunday service starts at 10:45am. We encourage families, especially those with children, to arrive early enough to sign their children into age-specific classes if you choose, or to simply have more time to visit with other families. Children of all ages are always welcome in our main service as well.

Where do I park?

There are two public parking areas across from the front entrance and one in the rear of the building. For added convenience, we have guest parking out front along the street.

What should I wear?

You’re invited to come as you are, whether you feel most comfortable wearing a suit or shorts. In general, our church tends to dress casually.
