Craig Boyd

Giving/Financial Elder (oversees Contributor Development, Stewardship Team and Benevolance)

craig-boydCraig grew up in a local Episcopalian church, was baptized as an infant, and confirmed at the age of thirteen. He always believed in God, but things during his early years always went pretty well for him and he tended to depend on himself. Until, that is, his marriage fell apart and his life crumbled around him. Thankfully, some strong Christian friends at his church in Middleburg, Virginia came alongside of him, prayed for and mentored him. They were always there for him just as Christians are supposed to be. Finally, one Sunday, he felt a hard push during the altar call, even though he was standing alone, and went forward to renew his faith publicly and was baptized as an adult.

God blessed Craig several years later when he met and eventually married Crystal in 2000. They have a very strong Christian marriage where they love and honor one another and are pursuing further study of God's Word. Craig and Crystal currently live in Ranson and they have three adult children, Tiffany, Kelsie, and Carleigh. Craig works as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Inova Loudoun Hospital.

Craig and Crystal became members of Harvest Pointe in 2007. Craig has been serving as the Tech Team Deacon for over a year and Crystal leads a Community Group for women. He desires to be obedient to the Lord's calling on his life to help the church by being a servant leader. God has been teaching him that there are so many people in the world who need to be reached for Him and he wants to work with the leadership to continue the growth and outreach that Harvest Pointe has been doing. He wants to prepare us to reach more people for Christ, especially as we prepare for our new ministry campus.
