Our Part - T4TH

The anticipated cost of this building is around $1.25 - 1.5 million. With owning outright our land, our nearly $125,000 cash on hand, and a small mortgage that would be equal to our current rent we are ideally situated to close the monetary gap that remains with this campaign. Our goal would be to begin construction in the Spring of 2011 and to be in this new building by Spring 2012. For that to be possible, however, we need people like you to join with us as we seek what God would have us to do and partner together in this campaign.

3 Steps to Determine My Faith Commitment:

Step 1: Pray

This is the most important step in preparing your heart to respond to God’s call to action. It is critical any time that we want to join God in the work He is doing. Ask Him what He would have you give to this phase of making His Mission and Vision for Harvest Pointe Community Church a reality.

Step 2: Leave Room for Faith

Trust God to provide what He impresses you to give, even if the amount is greater than the resources you can readily identify. Our greatest hopes and our greatest dreams are just the beginning for God. Expect the unbelievable! Remember, these are gifts over and above your regular giving.

Step 3: Give Sacrificially

Nowhere do the scriptures teach equal giving, but we can all sacrifice equally. There is no limit to what God will do in and through us if we commit ourselves to sacrificial giving.

3 Ways to Give Your Faith Commitment:

Give a 36-month Commitment

You can give far more when it is spread out over time. The Bible teaches that your faith and spiritual maturity develop through the habit of weekly consistent giving.

Give a Cash Gift

Ask God for creative ways to find the resources to make a cash gift. You might consider income from savings, tax refunds, garage sales, inheritance, or bonuses. You could take an extra part-time job, reduce expenses, defer a major purchase, etc. Involve your whole family in the joy of giving.

Give a Non-cash Gift

You can give real estate, stocks, bonds, coins, gold, cars, boats, etc. This is a valuable way to leverage your giving to direct the work of the ministry and take full advantage of the available tax benefits.

How to Make Your Faith Commitment:

After praying about what your part will be:

  1. Using the Together for the Gospel Commitment Card write down the amount you commit in faith to give during the next 36 months.
  2. Turn in your card at our Celebration Commitment Event on Sunday, November 7 (if you are joining in the campaign at a later date, you can drop it in the offering basket during any gathering on Sunday) or drop it/mail it to the church office.
