What does it mean for young people to participate in the local church? The answer is not much different than for adults. We will investigate what the Bible says about participation in the local church, including the significance of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Parents, as mentors, will guide their children through a short Bible study each week for eight weeks through the summer. We will meet together three times on Sunday mornings to expand on the study, give encouragement, and follow-up with the progress. This group is designed for ages 10-16, but will address content that applies to any young person thinking about baptism or church membership.
Come to the parent meeting on May 23 for more information.
